Production facilities are certified to ISO14001 environmental standards, this ensures the production facilities implement processes and procedures to protect the local environment in which they operate.

SUGARCANE PULP

Bagasse packaging is made from the pulp of the sugarcane plant, and is extremely durable, lightweight, inexpensive, and biodegrades in 30-90 days once exposed to composting conditions. It can be heated up or frozen, and it has no taste, odour or harmful additives. This makes it an ideal alternative to traditional polystyrene meal packaging.

PAPER FROM MANAGED PLANTATIONS

Sustainable forestry is one of the most effective means to mitigate climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere as they grow. When harvested, carbon is stored in every piece of paper. Certification ensures responsible management of forests with new trees growing, absorbing more carbon – a prerequisite to upholding the cycle.

  • COMPOSTABLE VS. BIODEGRADABLE

Biodegradation is nature's way of recycling wastes, or breaking down organic matter into nutrients that can be used by other organisms. 'Degradation' means decay, and the 'bio-' prefix means that the decay is carried out by a huge assortment of bacteria, fungi, insects, worms and other organisms that eat dead material and recycle it into new forms.

In nature, there is no waste because everything gets recycled. The waste products from one organism become the food for others, providing nutrients and energy while breaking down the waste organic matter. Some organic materials will break down much faster than others, but all will eventually decay.

By harnessing these natural forces of biodegradation, people can reduce waste and clean up some types of environmental contaminants. Through composting, we accelerate natural biodegradation and convert organic wastes to a valuable resource.

Our foodservice disposables are designed and manufactured to provide consumers with an affordable, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing solution to enjoy food on the go, without any negative impact on the environment.

Take action, a billion acts of green: https://www.earthday.org/action/

From students in classrooms to organisers in their communities to officials in government there are ways for anyone of any background to make a difference. Start small and go big — or start big and stay big. Either way, keep coming back, keep taking action and join the movement to change the world.   Add your act, watch the Billions grow, and join the movement to change the world.

Investing in a green economy is the only path to a healthy, prosperous, and equitable future.

Overcoming climate change is within reach if we work together to commit to action and invest in our planet and our collective future. With a focus on creating a 21st century economy to restore the health of our planet, protect our species, and provide opportunities for all.

We are all essential in harnessing the revolutionary progress needed to save humanity from the climate crisis. The sad truth is some forms of climate disruption and warming of our earth, mostly from human influence, will be felt for centuries to come.

It is possible to keep global warming below 1.5C, but immediate and significant action is needed now, and governments can’t do it alone.

All sectors of society, Governments, institutions, businesses, and citizens can and must play major roles in the green revolution – this time with existential responsibilities to get it right.

  •    Businesses, inventors, investors, and financial markets must drive value for their institutions and society through green innovation and practices. Like other economic revolutions, the private sector has the power to drive the most significant change, with both the necessary scale and speed.
  •    Governments must incentivise their citizens, businesses, and institutions to create and innovate, advancing the public’s interests and creating the framework for an equitable and sustainable global economic system. Ambitious action on green energy generates increased energy security at a time where that has never been more important, while also simultaneously creating the positive environmental outcomes needed to tackle the climate crisis.
  •    Individual citizens must push for sustainable solutions across the board as voters and consumers. Climate change mitigation, restoration, and adaptation require the collective will and voice of the people to make the change the planet needs.
